"Music or no music?"

I ask this question a lot, i.e. "Do you prefer working with music? Or do you need to work in silence?" And from my experience, people definitely have a strong opinion on the matter.

Some stand by their need to work in a quiet office to be productive and others need the hustle and bustle of a coffee shop to stay motivated. Many point out that they need music to keep the creative juices flowing.

I am definitely one of those people.

Note: most of the music I'll be sharing (but not all) will be by female-identifying musicians because one) female musicians are the bomb and two) because as a fellow female creative, I'm a strong proponent of supporting my other ladies out there. We need all the support we can get!
